Ask Questions!
The more you talk to your kids, the easier it will be for them to learn how to read and write.
One easy way to start conversations is to ask a lot of questions. You can ask your kids questions any time, even during everyday moments like breakfast. Questions get kids thinking.
It doesn’t matter if your kids know the answers to the questions, or even answer them all.
It is OK to ask questions that are silly, scientific or questions you don’t know the answers to.
Try asking questions at home, in the car, or even in the grocery store.
